„Plastic Baby, Plastic.“: ist ein Symptom des Anthropozäns und stellt die Deutlichkeit des menschenverursachten Klimawandels in Form von Sitzgelegenheiten für den öffentlichen Raum zur Schau. Diese Sitzsäcke verkörpern eine Gesellschaft der Gleichgültigkeit, die sich auf ihrem eigenen Müll ausruht. 

Wir hinterlassen täglich Tonnen an Plastikmüll der nur schwer bis gar nicht biologisch abbaubar ist oder nicht sachgemäß recycled werden kann und kümmern uns nicht um dessen weiteren Verlauf. Unsere Identität ist ein sensibles Konstrukt, das viele Aspekte unseres Lebens beinhaltet, welche wir oft nicht hinterfragen. Nicht nur unsere Bildung, visuelle Aspekte oder das soziale Umfeld tragen bei der Identitätsstiftung bei, sondern auch unser Habitus. „Plastic Baby, Plastic.“ Ist ein Aufruf unsere täglichen Gewohnheiten zu überdenken und eine Interaktion herbeizuführen. Die Installation ist ein Wechselspiel aus Aktivität und Passivität. Es ist als aktiv zu verstehen, da sich die Sitzelemente formen lassen und mit unseren Körpern interagieren. Die Passivität entsteht durch das längere Verweilen, und durch den Aspekt des körperlichen und geistigen Ausruhens. Unser Körper und Geist werden zu einem politischen Instrument.

"Plastic Baby, Plastic.": Is a demonstration of a symptom of the Anthropocene and is an embodiment of man-made climate change in the form of a seating area for public spaces. These beanbags illustrate a society of indifference that rests on its own garbage.
