I enjoy creating spatial and optical illusions as part of my design process, driven by a fascination with how easily the human brain and our perception can be influenced. By playing with architectural geometry, misleading pathways, and visual contrasts, I explore how space can be manipulated to evoke curiosity, tension, and surprise.
One of my favorite techniques involves the strategic use of complementary colors, which can distort depth and perception, creating immersive and thought-provoking environments. These illusions challenge conventional spatial understanding and invite viewers to engage more actively with their surroundings.
Whether through architectural layouts, installations, or visual art, my work aims to question the boundaries between what is real and what is perceived—blurring the lines between physical space and psychological experience.
